EV Revival Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the EV Revival website, platform, and related services. By accessing or using EV Revival, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
1. About EV Revival
EV Revival is an online platform for supported EV chargers. The service is primarily intended to provide charger access, account tools, and simple diagnostic visibility where supported.
EV Revival is not sold or provided as a guaranteed charger control, scheduling, automation, or uptime service.
Any charger information, status, or diagnostic visibility depends on the charger being online and able to communicate correctly with the platform.
2. Service Scope
EV Revival may provide some or all of the following, depending on compatibility and service level:
- charger access tools
- account features
- tariff settings
- basic charger status information
- simple diagnostic or fault visibility
- selected charger controls or convenience features where available
Not all features are available for all chargers, all users, or at all times.
We may add, remove, limit, suspend, or change features at any time.
3. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial to eligible users.
A free trial is a temporary promotional access period that allows eligible users to try selected features of the service for a limited time.
The free trial is intended to help users assess the service. It is not a guarantee of ongoing access, uninterrupted service, continued feature availability, or suitability for any specific purpose.
At the end of the free trial:
- access to paid or premium features may stop unless a paid subscription is started;
- some features may remain free if we choose to make them available without subscription;
- your account and charger records may remain in the system subject to our privacy, retention, and operational rules.
We may determine trial eligibility at our discretion, including by reference to account history, charger identity, charger serial number, prior trial use, fraud-prevention checks, abuse prevention, or other service-protection checks.
4. Diagnostics and Fault Information
EV Revival may provide simple diagnostic information or fault visibility for supported chargers when:
- the charger is online;
- the charger is communicating correctly;
- the charger reports status or fault information to the platform.
Any diagnostic, fault, or status information is provided for general informational purposes only.
It is not a substitute for professional inspection, qualified electrical advice, manufacturer guidance, repair diagnosis, or safety testing.
We do not guarantee that:
- every fault will be detected;
- every fault will be reported;
- every fault will be reported correctly;
- every fault description will identify the true root cause;
- diagnostic information will always be current, complete, or accurate.
If your charger is offline, not reporting correctly, not supported for a certain data point, or affected by hardware, firmware, or communication issues, diagnostic information may be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, generic, or inaccurate.
You remain responsible for deciding whether manufacturer assistance or a qualified electrician is required.
5. No Reliance on Remote Commands, Scheduling, or Automation
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, EV Revival is not sold as a guaranteed remote start, remote stop, scheduling, automation, or time-critical charger control service.
Any charger control or convenience feature may be unavailable, delayed, unsuccessful, removed, limited, or changed at any time.
This can happen for reasons including:
- charger hardware or firmware behaviour;
- charger compatibility limits;
- charger offline status;
- home Wi-Fi or router problems;
- mobile or broadband connectivity issues;
- power supply conditions;
- hosting or backend interruptions;
- third-party service dependencies;
- command delivery issues;
- timing mismatches or communication failures.
You must not rely on EV Revival for unattended, time-critical, safety-critical, off-peak-critical, tariff-critical, or mission-critical charging behaviour.
You are solely responsible for checking whether charging has started, stopped, or completed as intended.
6. Availability and Interruptions
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
The service may be unavailable, limited, or interrupted due to maintenance, updates, outages, software defects, hosting issues, connectivity failures, charger communication failures, third-party failures, or matters outside our reasonable control.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- using a supported charger where required;
- ensuring charger setup and configuration are correct where applicable;
- maintaining suitable internet and Wi-Fi connectivity where needed;
- checking charger and vehicle status independently;
- ensuring your charging activity is safe and appropriate;
- keeping your account credentials secure;
- using the service lawfully and reasonably.
8. Compatibility and Third-Party Dependencies
Service performance depends on factors outside our control, including:
- charger model and hardware condition;
- charger firmware version;
- home or site Wi-Fi quality;
- router performance;
- broadband or mobile service;
- electrical supply;
- vehicle behaviour;
- third-party systems and infrastructure.
We do not guarantee compatibility with every charger, installation, environment, vehicle, tariff setup, or network condition.
9. Payments and Subscriptions
Some features may require payment or an active subscription.
Pricing, feature access, billing intervals, and trial availability may change from time to time.
If subscription billing is offered, the applicable payment and renewal terms shown at sign-up or checkout will apply.
You are responsible for providing valid payment details and for reviewing the subscription terms presented during sign-up or purchase.
10. Data Retention and Account Deletion
Session history retained by EV Revival is kept for up to 60 days and is automatically deleted after this period.
You may request account data through a Subject Access Request (SAR) process as described in our Privacy Policy and Support pages.
Where GDPR or similar data-protection laws apply, we handle requests in line with applicable legal requirements.
If you delete your account, personal data associated with your account is erased, except that charger serial number records may be retained for trial-verification, fraud-prevention, and service-protection purposes.
RFID tags linked to your account are available while your account is active and may be removed when account deletion is completed.
11. Support
Any account contact is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis only.
We do not guarantee fault resolution, charger repair outcomes, manufacturer response, or successful restoration of charger connectivity.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- misuse the service;
- attempt unauthorized access;
- interfere with platform security or operation;
- use the service in a fraudulent or abusive manner;
- attempt to bypass trial, account, subscription, or entitlement restrictions;
- use the service in a way that could damage the platform or other users.
We may suspend or terminate access where misuse, abuse, fraud, or security concerns arise.
13. No Warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EV Revival is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no warranty or representation that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, fault-free, always available, always accurate, or suitable for your particular needs.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EV Revival shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or economic loss arising out of or in connection with use of the service.
This includes, without limitation, loss or damage relating to:
- missed charging sessions;
- failed schedules;
- failed commands;
- charger offline periods;
- connectivity problems;
- incomplete or inaccurate fault information;
- electricity costs;
- loss of savings;
- loss of convenience;
- loss of use;
- loss of data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time.
The latest version published on the website will apply from the date shown on the page.
