Get Your Charger Online

You are in the right place, and this can be fixed. The setup feels awkward for many people because phones often switch away from the charger hotspot. Follow the steps below in order, and you will be fine.

Before you start

  • Have your home Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password ready before you begin.
  • Your Wi-Fi password is case sensitive, so capitals and lowercase letters must match exactly.
  • Find your charger side label now. You will need the serial number and CBID.
  • The CBID is usually in this style: EU_EDR_CB12...
  • If possible, keep this guide open on a second device while you do the steps.

Step 1: Open the charger hotspot

  1. Turn the charger off at the power supply, then turn it back on.
  2. Wait for startup to finish. Do not continue until the blue and green flashing has stopped (this can take up to 2 minutes).
  3. Open Wi-Fi settings on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
  4. Find a network name that starts with 700 (this is your charger hotspot).
  5. Connect to it and enter your CBID as the hotspot password.

Step 2: Stay connected to the charger hotspot

  • Your device may show Connected without internet or No Internet. This is normal during setup, so stay connected.
  • Phones and tablets often jump back to home Wi-Fi or mobile data automatically.
  • If this happens, go back to Wi-Fi settings and reconnect to the charger hotspot (the one starting with 700).
  • Always confirm you are still on the charger hotspot before trying the login page.

Step 3: Open the charger login page

A) Vestel HS chargers

Use these details only if your model label includes HS.

Login page:

192.168.35.1
  • Open your browser and go to 192.168.35.1.
  • Username is admin.
  • Password is in your supplied booklet (charger-specific).

B) Vestel non-HS chargers

Use these details if your model label does not include HS.

Login page:

192.168.1.1
  • Open your browser and go to 192.168.1.1.
  • E.ON non-HS login is usually admin / eon01.
  • If you have different non-HS credentials, use your charger-specific details.

Step 4: If the page does not load

  1. Go back to Wi-Fi settings and check you are still connected to the charger hotspot (name starts with 700).
  2. If you are not, reconnect using your CBID password.
  3. Temporarily turn off mobile data and auto-join to other Wi-Fi networks, then try the login page again.
  4. Close and reopen your browser, then re-enter the correct login IP.

Step 5: Connect the charger to home Wi-Fi using the web UI

  1. After login, open the top-left menu.
  2. Select Network Interface.
  3. Select WLAN on the left.
  4. Set WLAN to Enabled.
  5. Enter your home Wi-Fi name (SSID).
  6. Enter your home Wi-Fi password exactly (case sensitive).
  7. Set Security to WPA/WPA2 PSK.
  8. Set IP Settings to DHCP.
  9. Press Save.
  10. Go to Main Page, set Pre-Sets to WLAN, then press Save again.

After saving

  • Allow up to 15 minutes for the charger to show online.
  • When setup is complete, disconnect from the charger hotspot.
  • If it still does not come online, restart both the charger and your router, then repeat this guide from Step 1.

Connectivity tips

  • The charger needs a stable Wi-Fi signal to stay online.
  • Garages, walls, and long distance from the router can weaken the signal.
  • If needed, use a Wi-Fi extender or powerline adapter to improve coverage near the charger.
